The leaves are up to 6 inches 15 cm long and up to 08 inch 2 cm wide, both surfaces prominently covered in large white tubercles in indistinct rows, triangular-ovate to broadly lanceolate, dark brownish-green, upright and incurving, more or less stemless, and particularly conspicuous on the underside of the leaf surface.
